I wasn't sure though to which paid version of Trados was the Trial Version related to in terms of both, features and functionality. As for the Freelancer version, I can't afford it at the moment, and will have to make do with the Starter until I can.
I recommend SDL Trados Studio Starter, a subscription edition of pared-down Studio Freelance desktop for €99/year. Check out this blog post for more details or compare versions here. Heads-up: The automatic update function isn’t working in the initial release build of Studio 2021.

SDL Trados Studio 2021 is the fully supported release of SDL Trados Studio. SDL continues to support Studio 2019 as the limited support release. Following the release of Studio 2021, SDL has moved Studio 2017 to an extended support period that will end on 31st.
