First of all the clock is a good size, quite small and petite. I didn't want anything to big that the kids would poke and mess with. So far they haven't. The alarm is really easy to set and even on the lowest setting its pretty loud, you can have a normal alarm or wake up to your favorite radio station. The clock is really easy to use with all the buttons being on the top of the clock. There is also a snooze button for them days where you don't want to get out of bed days.
